Holiday “Nauryz", March, 23, 2015,

Cultural holiday Nauryz was traditionally held in Uryl village in March 2015. EcoAltai in cooperation with village akimat tried to enhance its programme and to use it for demonstration of rich local culture and traditions to visitors, including tourist companies and journalists who were invited to take part. The Holiday was held on 23 March 2015 presenting performances of local songs and dances and staging traditional Kazakh sport games and competitions. Rural residents and visitors were encouraged not only to watch, but also to interact in all the events, including savouring local teas and tasting various traditional Kazakh dishes.
